REELVISION / A LITTLE MORE CONTEXT

From saved inspiration to something you can build.

ReelVision is an independent project by Hashir Hussain. It started with a practical question: how do I build the thing I just saw in a reel?

Last updated: 2026-10-09

Why Hashir built it

Hashir saves design and animation reels for inspiration. A saved video is useful, but the next step is harder: identifying the interaction, reading a small label or figuring out how to recreate an idea in code.

ReelVision closes that gap. You give your assistant a public video link; the connector returns frame images, the caption and speech text when available. Then you can ask focused follow-up questions about what you saw.

Built for understanding

The assistant sees the actual sampled frames. That matters when the useful detail is a layout, an ingredient, a diagram or a piece of text that never appears in the voiceover. If the available samples miss something, the answer should say so.

Designers and developers are the starting point. Creators, marketers and other curious viewers can use the same tools to explore a reel in their own way.

A small, independent beta

ReelVision is free during the beta, with clear duration and usage limits. It is built for Claude and has also worked in Hashir’s ChatGPT test. The project is independent of the assistant providers and video platforms.

Suggestions and specific failure reports help decide what to improve next.
